Day one.
He wakes up in a small medieval village.
People surround him with swords.
The village chief asks, “Who are you?”
He points at a broken wooden cart.

He takes two pieces of metal and a hammer.
Within minutes, the cart is moving again.
The chief stops laughing.

Day two.
The chief brings him a broken water wheel.
The entire village depends on it.
The mechanic studies it for a few minutes.
Then he changes the gears.
The wheel suddenly spins twice as fast.
Water begins flowing through the village.
People start calling him a magician.

Day three.
A nearby kingdom hears about him.
Their king orders him to come to the castle.
The king shows him a giant stone gate that hasn't moved in 100 years.
“Open it.”
The mechanic studies the chains and pulleys.
He builds a simple lifting system.
The massive gate rises effortlessly.
The king gives him a room inside the palace.

Day four.
The mechanic notices something strange.
The castle has no proper heating.
People are freezing every night.
He builds a basic furnace and ventilation system.
Within hours, the entire castle becomes warm.
The king asks, “What else can you build?”

The mechanic smiles.

“Almost anything.”

Day five.
He builds better tools.
Then stronger bridges.
Then machines that can cut wood in minutes.
The kingdom becomes richer every day.
Merchants from neighboring lands begin arriving.

But one king becomes jealous.

Day six.
The neighboring kingdom sends an army.
The king wants the mechanic to build weapons.
Instead, he builds something nobody has ever seen.

A massive metal machine.

The enemy soldiers approach.

The machine starts moving.

The entire army stops.

Then turns around.

Day seven.
The kingdom becomes the most advanced place in the world.

The king offers the mechanic half of his kingdom.

But the mechanic refuses.

He points toward a strange machine he has secretly been building for months.

A machine with four wheels...

An engine...

And a steering wheel.

He turns it on.

The king looks confused.

The mechanic smiles.

“I'm finally going home.”
